Q. What should I fish with for largemouth bass in 45 degree water with rocks and timber?
A. There are a lot of factors to consider in trying to decide what to use. Going with only the temp and cover you provide I would start with a swimming jig with a nice chunky trailer. Working it near the timber and through the rocks.
Some say go big and others say small in winter. I of the belief that you go big. If the jig doesn't work for me I'll try some dropshotting using a big worm.
If all else fails I'd go with a crankbait.
Stick with natural looking colors also. Winter water tends to be a little clearer.
Hope this gives you some ideas.
Thanks for the question Cliff.
